What Do I Do?
I approach my customer relationships as artistic collaborations to produce Archival Pigment Ink, On Paper or Canvas Reproductions of Fine Art Originals (sometimes called Giclees).
What Do I Print With?
My production equipment includes the state-of-the art, industry standard setting Epson 11880 - 64" printer utilizing the pigment based K3 Ultrachrome-Vivid Magenta Ink Set. In addition to Museum Quality Archival papers and canvas, this printer will print on any material up to 1.5mm in thickness, offering a wide variety of options for artists in their creative process. I also work with an Epson 4880 - 17" printer that utilizes the same K3 Ultrachrome ink set.
What Paper Options Are Available?
I have been producing excellent pigment-on-paper and canvas Giclees using Breathing Color's selection of Fine Art Papers and Canvas. There are many other papers available, on request, that meet my working standard of Excellence, Consistency and Dependability. I Can also print on media up to 1.5mm thick.
Canvas?
Canvas Fine Art Reproductions are approached in two ways: A) Printed and Spray Coated (Matte or Gloss), rolled up and ready to take it away. B) Printed with Gallery Wrap finished sides, Spray Coated (Matte or Gloss), Stretched on 1.5" wood stretchers, wired and ready to hang.
What Else Do I Do and What Do I Do It With?
Image Capture: Either High Resolution Photo or Scan, depending on the size of the original. My studio is set up for excellent photo conditions with all appropriate lighting. My scanners include an Epson Tabloid Size (12" x 17" prox.) as well as a letter size Epson 750 Photo Scanner which is excellent for slides and film. My photo capture equipment is all Nikon digital SLR camera and lenses.
Photo Restoration: Let me renew those special photos that have suffered from time or handling, or both.
